Omaha Couple Funds New Patient Waiting Area
In gratitude for The Nebraska Medical Center’s exceptional care, Tim and Teddi Slattery recently donated a gift that will enable us to renovate the waiting room outside our recently updated state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs. Their gift will provide a more comfortable and attractive environment for all families anxiously waiting the prognosis or recovery of a loved one.
Tim and Teddi Slattery have been very involved in several local charities including The Holland Performing Arts Center, the Henry Doorly Zoo, Tim Slattery’s alma mater Creighton Prep High School, their church and the Hospice House. The couple recently created the Tim and Teddi Slattery Art Gallery at the Omaha Hospice House, which according to director Gary George “the changing exhibitions offer residents, visitors, and staff a way of interacting with the world.” Tim Slattery is a successful retired Omaha investment manager and businessman.
